All assets belong either in a trust or connected to the trust by beneficiary designation. You've taken the time to set this all up, so don't leave something out by mistake. Don't have a loose end, which can end up costing you twice as much as if you did nothing.
You want your bank accounts, you want your brokerage accounts, you want your S corporation stock, you want your limited partnerships, any asset that you own should be titled in the name of the trust.
The exception are assets which designate a beneficiary by contract arrangement, that would be your life insurance, your retirement plans. There are certain sorts of ESOPs and stock arrangements that designate a beneficiary. Annuities designate a beneficiary.
You'll see in the program every type of asset is listed. If you have an asset that requires a beneficiary designation and you've checked that in the program, we will take you to the proper way of designating the beneficiary.
